Claire is a freelance writer.

She grew up in the suburbs of Chicago and graduated from Vanderbilt University and Columbia University's Graduate School of Journalism. She spent 13 years as a senior writer for Bloomberg Businessweek magazine. Before Businessweek, she was a writer first at the Nashville Scene and then later at TIME.

She lives in Brooklyn because of course she does.
