Claire is a freelance writer.

She grew up in the suburbs of Chicago and graduated from Vanderbilt University and Columbia University's Graduate School of Journalism. Most recently Claire spent 13 years as a senior writer for Bloomberg Businessweek magazine, where she wrote about everything from maternal healthcare to museum heists. Before Businessweek, she was a writer first at the Nashville Scene and then later at TIME. Writing about herself in the third person is kind of weird.

She lives in Brooklyn because of course she does.
